1st Dish – Combination Cold Dish

All is nice esp the lobster salad. Even the strawberries are sweet! Only feedback to them that the jellyfish is too dry…

2nd Dish – Scallops with Celery in Spicy Sauce

A very appetising dish! Taste is just nice and is not too oily.

3rd Dish - Sharks Fin

Can see the fins clearly… colour looks ok but is VERY SALTY… I only ate 1/3 bowl and pass the rest to my dad..haaha… COMPLAIN!!

4th Dish – Sea Cucumber and Mushroom

Not my kind of food…don’t fancy this dish but the taste is alright too..

5th Dish - Steamed Fish (Soon Hock)

This should be dish 5 but I forgot to take a picture of it! Fish is fresh and the sauce is tasty. Thumbs up!

6th Dish – Cantonese Style Crispy Chicken

Skin is crispy enough but some parts of the chicken are too salty esp the wings or drums. Breast meats taste alright though. Did ask them to cut down on the salt lah.. machiam free salt like that…

7th Dish – Home Style Fried “Mian Xian”

A Super Delicious Dish!!!!! Love it so much.. Looks like fried bee hoon right.. but is Mian Xian!! Superb Dish… Everyone likes this dish the best…

8th Dish – Honeydew with Sago Dessert

Very tasty too!! But we’ll be changing it to “Orr Ni” instead. Both dads and moms say this is too cheap… haahaa.. Lucky change to orr ni don’t need extra charges..

So funny right they all… Then that Darren just copy what his gor gor n jie jie do..whahaha.. His outfit was actually Daryl’s de.. He wore it during Yong’s wedding years back… So cute… like little waiter..haha..

Ask Daryl and Denise smile… they smile until like that… Crazy kids..hoho..

Ask them don’t be so cheeky.. then that silly Daryl give me that “act cool” look..haiyoo..buay tahan them…. But Darren is so cute right!!

After Daryl and Denise changed back into their home clothes ah, Darren still refuse to change lor..whahaha..vain pot!!!

Backdrop nicer now…now the place becomes so much brighter already.

Almost all materials bought in Plaza Singapura… so fun shopping with Chin that day…Total damage excluding bear bear should be around $58.80 (forgot some of the prices le). Actual cost for Tatty Bears was $89.90 .. phew..lucky got vouchers.. if not cannot buy my favorite bear bear liao.. cos if add cost of bears will be –> $148.70 lor!!

I started wrapping the box, cutting the slit around 3.30pm.. Then stick the borders and ribbons together…then Chin stick the flowers 1 by 1… and finally I fix on the bears… Done around 9pm…  tired leh…

Lazy to take the step by step..hehe.. That’s why only final Photos of the Box!!

Chin chin’s night time gown…Striking colour!! But I tink she needs to go tan herself.. will look better hor? Might change her big ribbon to black satin cloth instead.. Currently don’t look obvious right the ribbon…

We reached around 10.15am (suppose to reach at 10am). SMSed Fanny (makeup artist) that we’ll be late. But when we reached we found her outside. She didn’t know the padlock combination number to open the letterbox. The studio door key is in the letterbox and need to call my coordinator Sally for help! Wasted abit of time there.

Well, don’t panic… everything will be fine. She started of with my makeup, then changed into the Victorian Gown… then did my hair…

Then is Dd’s turn.. hoho..he also needs to put on some foundation lor..

Then styled his hair…

1st Outfit – Victorian Theme

Hoho.. quite cool ya?

And me in Victorian Dress… Headpiece is a tiara with curls on my 2 sides. This picture was taken by Fanny.. Cool huh?

2nd Outfit – Jap Theme

Fanny buns lots of buns and bun them all my hair up like Japanese woman.. hehe.. So fun..

Done… with chopsticks and red beads thing in my head.. Can’t see properly though.

And the back of my hairdo looked like this..

Dd in Jap suit too now. I liked the fluffy white ball in front of his outfit.hee.. and I liked the colour combination! First time he’s wearing “skirt” lor..hee..

3rd Outfit was supposed to be the Main Wedding Gown but that pic is so nice.. I shall show it last.

Oh, we had lunch after taking photos in the Main Wedding Gown. So hungry le.. think is 3 plus if I’m not wrong. Dd went to tabao McDonalds while I’m doing my hair.

4th Outfit – Evening Gown & Suit

Shorten the curls and added fake curls on my right side. And added 2 shiny hairbands!! I LOVE IT!! But too bad cannot see. Dd always take blur photos… ~sigh..

Matching vest inside with grey tie/scarf thingy. So unfair.. why he looked so slim in this suit huh!

Hahaha..back to the 3rd Outift now. Nice photo??? My hair so pom and high right! Added white fake flowers on my right side. Oh and also the veil.

After the last hairdo is already almost 5 pm. Got to RUSH out for outdoor shooting already. No more time to waste that’s why didn’t manage to take picture before we head out.

1st stop – Botanic Gardens. Took picture with huge trees, benches, pavalion and waterfall.

Nice pavalion?

2nd stop – Alexandra Hills. We forgot to bring out the flower petals when at Botanic Gardens that’s why Kit got to bring us to Alexandra Hills to take more photos and shun bian take “throw flowers in the air” photos. Had a glimpse of the pictures. Some photos, Dd’s face covered by the flower petal. Hehe.. But there were a few perfect timing ones! Hope we can pick out a nice one from those.

3rd stop – Sunset Way Railway track. This is the most exciting and dangerous shooting location for the day! We have to walk up a slope which was quite steep because I am wearing my heels up! I have my slippers in the car but we don’t have time to lose cos we need to catch the SUNSET!! There has been some traffic jam from Alexandra to Clementi. So worried we’ll miss the Sun.

Anyway, back to the railway track. On the track itself, it’s even more difficult to walk (on heels) because of the big stones and decaying & rocking wooden planks. And in order to get the Sun in the picture, we have to walk by the side of the track on the 4 rusty metal planks towards to the centre of the track right on top of the big canal. That’s where the Sunset is. I have to watch where my feet are stepping so that I don’t step into the gaps between the metal tracks. So I have to pull up ALL the tail of the gown until I can see my own legs before I can walk. hee.. And between the track gaps, I can see the green grass below which is like 3 storeys down!

It don’t look really scary through the photo belowbut it’s really quite dangerous when we’re up there. No kidding. Once we’re in position. We didn’t move an inch. Haha..

Coming down the slope was MORE difficult than walking up!! Goodness..Luckily my heels didn’t give me trouble. Phew..~

Kit showed us the photos from the camera. Love the orangey, evening colours. Hope they’ll all look nice cos we had a hard time there… heehee..

4th Stop – Fullerton

We were all more relieved after the Sunset shots. Then we made our way to the Fullerton. By that time we were all exhausted already. Hope our smiles won’t look fakey… Had the last 10 over shots there and we are done for the day!!

So happy, really so happy. So thankful to Kit too. Risk his life to the railway track with us..whahahaaha… He’s so fun to be with.. Joking around to make us laugh & laugh and teach us how to pose.

He’s like so glad we finally ended our day and shook our hands, thanked & congratulated us. hee…

We returned to Bridal Concept around 8 plus. Changed and packed our things and went for dinner at Bugis Junction. Oh, we’ll be able to view the photos in 1 to 2 week times.

Though it’s a long and tiring day, we really enjoyed ourselves and I felt so touched whenever I think back about the photo shooting day even though its just yesterday…. felt like crying…

Let’s view all the gowns again. This time round, I put dd’s and mine side by side.. hee.. can visualise better?

 Dd will be wearing black for outdoor shooting… Will choose off the rack on the photoshoot day…

- Kua for Actual Day Tea Ceremony -

The blue and off-white ones are from People’s Park. Mum’s Black-Maroon with Red Flora pattern one was frm Arab Street (walking distance from Bugis MRT). Cos we can’t find suitable cloth for mum that’s why had to proceed to location 2 to find. Had  a hard time finding this piece cos 90% of the shops there are selling Malay / Indian cloths… boo.. can you imagine the smell we have to tahan  when we’re walking along the streets?

But glad that we made a trip there… found this special cloth… hoho..

The off-white one is for Chin (to wear during daytime) and Denise (her little bridesmaid dress). Blue cloth is for Chin too, her evening gown.

Ok..these are the designs for the pretty cloth…

Denise first… Will change to thin straps instead of 2 thick ones… Pink colour satin will be replaced with beigey-brown satin / ribbon (to match Daryl and Dd’s suit). Waist section will be thicker too and might not have the small ribbon.

Chin’s Day Dress will look like my dress.

Chin’s Evening Gown. Length similar to image, ribbon similar too just that will all use the same blue cloth. The only thing that is different will be the chest part. Think “heart” shape (like my main gown) will be nicer. Oh, and will add straps too..

Finally, mummy’s design… Nice ma??

 Hoho..can’t wait to see them all done up!! Shall take photos and update again!!

Tried so many until Chin and me feel so warm!! But luckily, found a very lovely purple gown…too bad photo taken is blur… hehe.. this is a 2-piece gown.. need to alter to be fitting de. Sally is pulling from behind to pretend is fitting for me to take this pic…

The ribbon below bust area is actually pink in colour with shiny beads. I LIKE LA!!

Choosing suit for Daytime…

The collar for this suit so wierd hor.. like dracula! (the pants not suppose to match the top k..just to see pattern and design for coat).

This off-white suit not bad. Texture looks thick and smart.

This is a white silk suit…nice la..like 白马王子.. kakakaaka… we chose this…but when we’re on train, I somehow think the previous off-white is better cos there’s 3 buttons in front… overall looks more fitting and smart? Oh no…so difficult to choose! Please vote!

Evening Suit to match my purple gown up next…!!

This suit has silvery grey tone… nt bad la.. this colour with stripes looks quite special but don’t really suit his skin tone.

Black? How come black makes him looks fairer? Haha.. Nice but if under dimmer lights, can’t really see the vest inside le. Although there will be scarf / tie on the actual day… but because the next suit looks even nicer, we give this a skip…

This one huh.. colour part can match my purple gown!! Colour not very common also.. Special! But looks quite matured hor in this colour?

The shirt worn inside looks like this.. mummy can make a similar shirt for Daryl…

Ok.. now this section is for mummy to see… she wants me to try out Kua see suitable for me not.. She say I’ll look very short in Kua…

So how? Wear Kua or choose other tea dresses? 

Visiting Sally next month to choose another gown for outdoor shooting and 2 other gowns (Jap, Victorian, Korean etc) for indoor shooting other than the main and evening gowns… total 5 for photo shooting…
